Ann’s Sweet

Adress: 10/, 138 ถนน พระอาทิตย์, Chana Songkhram, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok 10200, Thailand

When I first  stepped into this sweet little Cafe on Phra Atith road in 2008 I knew I will always be back for more. This Cafe is the perfect escape when the heat of Bangkok is killing you and you crave a good iced Coffee. Once you set foot into Ann’s Cafe you will forget all the sweating and the humid weather because you are in cake wonderland.

The Peaceful Bossa Nova Jazz sounds and Ann’s Aircondition will cool you down within seconds. Ann’s husband Noi is such a kind person and he will do everything to make your stay as comfy as possible.

Try one of Ann’s Cakes that will make you feel like in heaven. They are not just cakes, they are masterpieces. Ann gratduated from the culinary art Institute Le Cordon Bleu in Bangkok and holds a certificate of patisserie.

I have been coming for almost 10 years now and this cafe has never dissapointed me. Have a chat with Ann and Noi when you stop by. They are really sweet people and kind hearted.

Moka Coffee and Gallery

Adress: 92 Rambuttri Bangkok | Talad Yod, Phra Nakhon, Bangkok, Thailand (Banglamphu)

This Oasis is hidden in the middle of the wild Kaosan Area. You would never expect such a cozy and peaceful place here. A needle in a haysack in the middle of shady whisky bars. You will feel the good energy straight away when entering this cozy gallery. Get inspired by her artworks and order one of the best Espressos Banglampoo has to offer. Moka Cafe takes you into another world, far away from the party hub. And this is exactly what Moka wanted when she first started- a place to calm down, get inspired and make new friends.  Moka wanted to create a cafe that offers good food and which is a room of creativity at the same time. Take your time discovering the gallery and don’t miss out on her bloody delcisous pancake 🙂
Come as a guest and leave as a friend.

The unbelieveable huge Pancake with fruits and Icecream was spot on.

Lots of tiny things to discover at Moka Cafe and Gallery.

Mokas vegetarian Pita bread with Tomato, Spinach and Cheese with a yummy garlic and cilantro sauce.

We had a very nice chat with Moka. Don’t hesitate to ask her about her life. She is happy to share her story with you.

The SheepShank is a located next to the Phra Atith Peer very close to Santichaiprakan Park. You can either enter this food heaven either from Phra Atith Road or from the Peer side. This Restaurant is a must if you are a food and beer lover. What we appreciated most about the SheepShank was the relaxing atmosphere here. The outstanding food does the rest. Sip one of their Indian pale Ales while listening to soul and funk mixtapes. For hungry souls we suggest one of their excellent pasta dishes. While enjoying this amazing food you can watch boats go by on the Chao Praya River. The best time is at sunset for absorbing 100% of the magic atmosphere.

This board leads you to the SheepShank. It is installed next to Chao Praya Cafe on Phra Atith Road.

The Nachos come with a delicious crab dip. Yum!!!

We won’t forget these Squid Rings and the spicy Razor clams. Absolutely worth their price.

The friendly staff at the SheepShank will always help you out if you have trouble in making a decision on what to eat or drink.
